ABOUT US
Wyseby House Books was established in 1978 by Dr Tim Oldham. The shop in Kingsclere opened in 1994 and Anne joined Tim in the business in 1999.
The shop is housed in a 17th Century brick and timber building, complete with inglenook fireplace, in the middle of this pretty and historic north Hampshire village. There are connections back to King John and earlier. There are several pleasant places nearby to have lunch or coffee and to visit if you want to make your journey to us as part of a day out.
We have always specialised in books on art, artists’ monographs, architecture, design, decorative arts, gardening, horticulture, natural history, birds and country-life but you will find many books on most other subjects in the shop. We are always happy to help you find just what you want from our stock.
We are interested in buying large collections on any subject or unusual individual items. We are pleased to undertake valuations for probate, insurance or other reasons.
