We have over 25,000 carefully selected rare, out of print, second-hand and unusual titles on display in our shop and on our easily searched web site.
These include one of the largest displays of old books on art outside London as well as a large and interesting stock of decorative art books, bird books, gardening books, as well as books on architecture, natural history, forestry, and design.
We also have a good selection of books on most other subjects including literature, history, biography, military, religion and country-life as well as old prints, decorative art and theatre posters.
Our shop hours are normally 10am-5pm Monday to Saturday – but if you are travelling a distance to see us we suggest you contact us to check that we are open. You can be assured of a friendly welcome from well informed staff.
Our online bookshop is open all day, every day and with the exception of Sundays and Bank Holidays we should return your messages within 24 hours.
We can post any item worldwide for very competitive rates.
